PERSONAL INTERESTS AND COMMUNITY ACTIVITY
Doug and his wife Rae celebrated their Silver Wedding Anniversary in 2003, are active members and volunteers at St. Mary of the Lake Parish and have two grown children. The Tally's compete in marathons and triathlons, and maintain active lifestyles with family and friends. Doug & Rae participate in civic affairs as Judge of Elections, Chicago Board of Election Commissioners.

Prior to joining Koenig and Strey, Doug was recognized with top sales awards and advancement for achievements in the information technology field. Doug’s earliest career was Criminal Justice as a Detroit Police Officer while earning a B.S. degree from Wayne State University. Of the honors and awards in Detroit, the most notable are Officer Of The Year, and a letter of appreciation from President elect Ronald Reagan for performance of personal protective services.
